Goal of Ministry

Our goal is to supply humanitarian needs to those challenged by disaster and poverty.

What is Lutheran World Relief

LWR is headquartered in Baltimore, MD and is a ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and has worked in international development and relief since 1945.

St. Paul’s LWR Projects

Every year we decide on focusing on one kit ministry.  The four kit ministries are:  Personal Care Kits, School Kits, Baby Care Kits, and Fabric Kits.  We collect supplies for the kits from April through September.  All Kits are boxed for shipping before the first week in October.  A local drop-off center will be announced for the local area.

Ways to be Involved

Donations are needed throughout the collection months.  Also, people may be needed to sew or knit items that are used in specific kits.  In September, there is a need to assemble the kits and pack them for shipping.

Who to Contact

If you would like to help with this project, our coordinator is Debbie Farantzos.
